Synchronizing Hotmail Data with Your Yahoo Account

If you’ve recently switched from Outlook or Hotmail account to Yahoo, there’s no need to manually transfer data. You can move all of your contacts, documents and calendar events automatically from one account to the other. The best thing about it is that you don’t have to delete one of the accounts – you can use both of them, at the same time!

Here is how to do it:

•    Step 1 – Install Microsoft Outlook on your personal computer
•    Step 2 – Login to your yahoo account in your internet browser
•    Step 3 – Activate your Point-of-Presence number by going to Mail Options and enabling the POP    settings
•    Step 4 – Open MS Outlook on the PC
•    Step 5 – Go to Tools toolbar and click on the option called Account Settings
•    Step 6 – Click on Add Account
•    Step 7 – Type in your Yahoo account details, such as username, password and your full name
•    Step 8 – Click on Next and let the program configure the settings
•    Step 9 – Click Finish and the two accounts should be synchronized

If for some reason, this procedure does not connect the two, you will need to type the POP number in the Outlook. However, in some cases, even this will not be enough. If the problem remains, you will need to get in touch with the people from Yahoo support. You can contact them by sending them email, explaining your problem.

Usually, the Yahoo technical support will need a couple of days to solve the problem for you, but if you want the issue gone right away, you can contact an independent tech support. Users from Australia are lucky, as there are many companies that can help them.

You can call them at their Yahoo support number 1800894139 for any problem related to emails. It doesn’t have to be Yahoo email, but any other, including Gmail or Hotmail. In fact, this tech support website is there for you for any problem you might have with your computer.
